What readers are saying ...

Kenneth B Marslew AM JP FAIM is a father, a husband, a carer, a mentor, an activist, a lover, a flghter and above all a wonderful human being.
My knowledge of Ken starts on the day that his life was shattered by the murder of his son, Michael, at Jannali Pizza Hut. My law office was upstairs from the Pizza Hut. This was in
February 1994.

He hits on a raw nerve in his journey from victim to thriver. Ken is a one-off man who started a trend that is growing with each senseless murder that we live with. Long may his
achievements be remembered and honoured.

It was a violent crime that thrust Ken Marslew into the public spotlight, when his son Michael was murdered. Ken, racked with grief and anger, became the public face on law-
and-order issues.

He never envisaged how dramatically his life would change following that brutal, senseless crime. Ken turned his anger into something constructive, and what he has done to make our society a better place is truly inspirational.

Every time I sit down and have a chat with him, I come away a little smafter. We could all learn from Ken's inspirational story; it is one that needs to be told.

Motivated by Murder/Love: An emotional and inspirational journey. Took me places I have never been as a father - and never want to go. A great read!
